About us

Merton Lodge Surgery is situated in the historic market town of Alford, Lincolnshire. We have a practice list size of approximately 7000 patients who are cared for by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of medical professionals.

We are part of the First Coastal PCN and benefit from access to high quality clinical supporting staff who hold regular clinics in the surgery, such as: Social Prescribing, First Contact Physiotherapy & Senior Mental Health Nurse clinics.

A modern partnership of two GPs & two ANPs, work collaboratively with a focused and dedicated management team to provide a high standard provision of care to our patients. This cooperative also maintains a supportive and progressive environment for our team to thrive in their personal & professional development.

We are a dispensing practice who use online services such as SystmOne & AccuRX. The surgery boasts a clinical team of:

General Practitioners (GP)
Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP)
Health Care Assistants
Practice Nurses
Phlebotomists
Older Adult Nurses

Our non-clinical team are highly skilled and thoroughly trained to provide comprehensive administrative support. Our support team includes:
