Job Summary:
As we continue to navigate the ever-evolving landscape that is the NHS and embark upon the next chapter in our journey, we hope you will join us as part of our team. We are seeking to recruit a new Partner for our dynamic, supportive and friendly practice in the picturesque village of Woodhall Spa.
We are keen to hear from someone with a wide range of skills, ready to provide our patients with highest standard of care in the modern world of General Practice. Whilst pandemics and a challenged NHS have changed some of what general practice does and how we do it, we still want to do it well.
Woodhall Spa New Surgery, along with our branch site at Bardney, has a history of high QOF performance and a good CQC rating. We wish to continue in this vein, whilst developing and supporting our range of clinical staff.
- GMS
- 3 GP Partners and 2 Salaried GPs with support from one ANP and one trainee ACP.
- Excellent wider team of practice management and nursing colleagues as well as ARRS staff including clinical pharmacists and technicians, first contact physiotherapist, paramedic and mental health practitioner and care coordinator.

- Key member in the East Lindsey Primary Care Network and developing increased collaborative local MDT approach.
The team work together as a democratic, resilient and close group, with the aim of providing high quality, evidence-based care whilst maintaining a good work life balance. We believe in the importance of non-medical interests to distract from the rich tapestry of General Practice and this makes Woodhall Spa a great place to be based. Be dragged out running or cycling with one of the team in the local area, share mutual appreciation of the latest boxset binge or enjoy some retail therapy in the village or in Lincoln.
Excellent local schools and great house prices in many of the beautiful local villages, or in the hustle and bustle of the city, make this a fantastic location to settle.
Our current clinical team have a wide range of roles outside the practice. Roles our current Partners hold include teaching, Medical Director of Lincolnshire LMC, Clinical Director of the local Primary Care Network and one Partner is a GPwES in Vasectomy. We are keen to help team members to develop their own skills and interests which help sustain your passion for general practice and can support you to do this. Interests can also help the work-life balance and do not just have to be medical.
Our current team enjoy a wide range of interests including running (not as fast as we used to) in a wide range of events (some of which suggest questionable sanity), jumping in a VW camper for a random weekend away, dogs (cats are acceptable) or just chasing our young, but growing up fast, families around endlessly.
