Salaried GPs (two posts, 6-8 sessions negotiable)

Spilsby Surgery

Bull Yard, Simpson Street

Job Summary:

Contract Type: Permanent

We are a small rural training and dispensing practice of approximately 7500 patients, situated on the edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds in an area of outstanding natural beauty.  We currently have 2 GP Partners 3 Associate GPs and a Nurse Consultant along with a mix of ANPs, Practice Nurses, HCAs and administrative support.  We pride ourselves in working with innovation and efficiency.

We believe team in culture throughout the whole practice and value our clinical and non-clinical staff – we support each other not just professionally (when we have slack, we help our colleagues if they are having a difficult day, and in life in general – frequently socialising together. We believe strongly in a learning environment and have weekly clinical meetings and training sessions which are inclusive to all staff. It really is a great place to be. The local schools are highly regarded (both Grammars and Comprehensives), and the housing market is competitively priced. With the seaside only 20 minutes away it is ideal for achieving a good work / life balance. Our GPs are a blend of personalities, ages, and gender and this brings a well-balanced team and practice.

We are consistent in our achievements, both financially and in business, looking after today whilst planning for tomorrow, but this is not our main focus; That’s good integrated patient care, and taking good care of ourselves and each other. We meet every morning for coffee, have lunch together where we can and have an open-door policy. Everyone is happy to ask and answer any questions too.

We have two vacancies for a Salaried Doctors, for 6-8 clinical sessions (but we are happy to consider less or more).  These posts are to replace a long-standing salaried doctor who has moved from the area and other changing work commitments in the Practice.  Start date is again negotiable, but the sooner the better from our point of view.

We will be reassessing our core Partnership model and may well be recruiting for a new Partner as well in the near future, so we are happy to chat about that possibility.

What matters to us is that we get the right people for our team and so, we can be flexible on the working arrangements. So, if something isn’t quite the right fit, but you like us, please let us know.
