QOF Year End CQRS Actions & Updates
The purpose of this update is to assist practices to prepare for key activities supporting accurate QOF 2024/25 Achievement and 2025/26 Aspiration calculations.
Introduction
Under the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), GPES collects for NHS England information about General Practice (GP) achievements which is used within CQRS to calculate the GP payments for the current financial year, and to set the aspirational payments for the following year.
QOF achievement information will be collected on 1st and 2nd April 2025. Other QOF reporting collections run throughout the year, but data collected in other months of the year are not used in the payment calculation.
Year-end actions required
To prepare for QOF achievement information collection at year-end, practices are required to complete several actions by the deadlines indicated:

If these actions are not completed by the deadline:
- Overall achievement information cannot be collected
- Payments cannot be calculated and made
- Aspiration payments for the following year cannot be calculated and made
Expected QOF 2025 Calculation Timetable
The below timetable shows the planned dates for the upcoming QOF year-end calculation. Please note, these dates are subject to receiving all the data and relevant NHSE approvals.

We are expecting to distribute a further update on Thursday 3rd April to inform practices if the data collection has been successful. It will also advise what action needs to be taken to receive payment if your data is not available in CQRS.
- You will be notified when within the CQRS system once your practice’s achievement has been calculated. Once complete, you are able to run the achievement summary report for QOF to view your achievement. Guidance is available in the FAQs on our website.

Contact your commissioning organisation and clinical system supplier if you cannot see information from a collection in CQRS by the date given, or it is different to the information in your clinical system.
