NHS prescription charges from 1 May 2024

The Department of Health and Social Care has announced new NHS prescription charges in England.

The charges are as follows:

Prescription charges

  • Single charge: £9.90
  • 3-month prescription pre-payment certificate (PPC): £32.05
  • 12-month prescription pre-payment certificate (PPC): £114.50
  • HRT PPC: £19.80
