Are you a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse looking for a flexible locum opportunity? We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join Swingbridge Surgery for 2 days per week, with full flexibility on which days you work. This role is available ASAP for the next 2-3 months.
We are supportive of flexible working and welcome a conversation about arrangements that suit your availability.
You will be supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and our dedicated nursing team, with additional support from skilled managerial, reception, and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine immunisation schedules
- Cervical screening
- Hormone implants
- Travel vaccinations (desirable)
- Long term condition reviews (desirable)
Candidates must have experience in these areas to be considered.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- NMC Registered
- Qualified Practice Nurse
- Strong understanding of QOF, Enhanced Services, and CQC/NICE guidelines
- Excellent IT, organisational, communication, and clinical skills
- Experience in primary care and GP practice is essential
- Post subject to DBS check
