Basic Life Support (June Mop-Up Session)
These mop-up sessions are meant for individuals that have missed their practice's BLS training and need to catch up.
This is a 3 hour F2F workshop that meets the BLS training requirement for Primary care.
By the end of this workshop, delegates will have developed an understanding the importance of assessing a casualty in a life-threatening condition and treating them appropriately. This workshop will be highly interactive with focus on practical elements and group activities, including discussions.

These are mop-up BLS sessions intended for individuals who have missed their practice's training. Limited to 2 people per practice.
Content:
- Welcome, introductions and objectives.
- Recovery positions for breathing casualties
- Adult CPR and AED
- Choking
- Bleeding and Shock
- Anaphylactic shock with use of training auto injectors

This workshop will be delivered in Bourne, venue TBC
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure everyone is ready to start promptly at 10:00hrs.
