Under the guidance of Jodie, with 28 years of experience in primary care, you’ll receive personalised 1-on-1 training and support. Moreover, this role comes with the opportunity to pursue a Level 5 management qualification through an apprenticeship program.

Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with senior management to ensure the smooth functioning of the practice, enhancing efficiency, and achieving long-term strategic goals. You’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations, motivating staff, and managing patient services, premises, and health and safety protocols, all while adhering to regulatory standards set by CQC.

Leading by example, you’ll prioritise staff wellbeing, fostering a positive work environment that boosts morale and productivity. Located in the picturesque village of Bottesford, near Belvoir Castle, with additional branch surgeries in Harlaxton and Waltham, and a sister site in Grantham, occasional travel may be required to these sites.

This full-time role offers flexibility, with hours between Monday to Friday from 08:00-18:30, to ensure a healthy work-life balance.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Supervising the day-to-day operations of the practice
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising staff members
  • Organising rotas for medical and administrative staff to ensure the office is adequately staffed according to established schedules
  • Managing monthly payroll duties
  • Handling patient records and IT systems while addressing customer complaints or concerns
  • Enforcing industry and health and safety regulations
  • Fostering a positive and productive relationship with employees and attending to their well-being.

REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

  • GCSE Maths & English
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in IT
  • Empathy and Integrity: Compassionate approach when interacting with patients and staff, alongside a commitment to upholding ethical standards and preserving confidentiality.
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams effectively.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in primary care/ healthcare management
  • Leadership experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
