ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER (PART-TIME)
Church Walk Surgery is a semi rural practice in the beautiful village of Metheringham, Lincolnshire. We are a GMS practice with a list size of 5,600.
We are an established and well run practice. We provide high quality patient centred care within a friendly, close working team and are looking to recruit an experienced ANP to join us, providing 4 sessions/2 days per week (Wednesday & Thursday).
We offer 6 weeks annual leave pro rata, 1 week study leave pro rata and cover defence costs. We are committed to supporting personal and professional development.
You will be performing standard roles within the practice with the opportunity to nurture professional interests through in house or external training and mentorship. Sessions are a variety of face to face, telephone and AccuRx appointments, along with shared admin and tasks.

Main duties of the job
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive primary care services to patients. Your main responsibilities will include:
- To be competent in the assessment and treatment of patients presenting with a range of undifferentiated and undiagnosed illnesses underpinned by extensive knowledge of a range of chronic and acute conditions.
- To be competent in providing an initial clinical diagnosis and in the decision to refer to an appropriate speciality.
- Prescribing medications and providing appropriate treatments, referring to other members of the primary and secondary care team, as required.
- Providing health education, advice and counselling to patients.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- To be competent in the ability to discharge/provide safety netting for patients following appropriate assessment and treatment.
- Be a safe and competent non-Medical Prescriber-providing responsible prescribing and adapting medication therapies to meet the needs of patients.
- Demonstrate own personal development with self-directed learning and identifying and accessing internal and external development opportunities.
Part-time hours: 2 days per week to include one day per week duty Clinician
Salary: Band 8A (pro rata and dependent on experience)
