Episode 18: Introduction to new liver pathways at ULHT

Thank you for joining us today to discuss developments within the Gastroenterology service - namely the new referral pathways for patients with liver diseases. It is a really exciting time for the Gastroenterology team who have been working with primary care clinicians to update the liver pathways and streamline care for patients. There are changes to the open access endoscopy service to be discussed plus the effect of the pandemic on referral waiting times.

Join us as we introduce the changes to the Gastroenterology service locally, the use of Advice and Guidance and also shed some light on ELF tests and FIB4 tests in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) with Dr Aravamuthan Sreedharan - Consultant Gastroenterologist at ULHT.

This is the start of a podcast series on liver pathways so keep your eyes peeled for future episodes - this is only the beginning!

Thanks for listening!
